Lincoln Memorial tour reviews
Six reviews, one for each tour we know enough about to write about, and every one of them says who should not book it. The column to read first is the undercroft column: only two of the eighteen tours in our catalogue include a timed ticket to the museum under the memorial, and the titles of the other sixteen will not tell you that. The memorial itself is free, open 24 hours and needs no ticket at all — start with what you actually need to book.
How we read a rating
An average with no sample size next to it is decoration. Every review here prints the number of ratings alongside the score, and grades that sample the same four ways across the site: hundreds of reviews, a fair sample, a handful, or none yet.
Two of the six sit at the bottom of that scale, and the reason is the calendar rather than the product. The undercroft opened on 25 June 2026. Both tours that include it were listed for a museum that has existed for a matter of weeks, so one carries four reviews and the other carries none. That is not a warning about either operator. It means there is nothing yet to read, and both pages say so instead of dressing a small number up as a verdict.
Where the quotes come from, and which ones we left out
Quotes on these pages are lifted from the tour listings, and one is only used when the product has a real review count and the words plainly describe that product. That test removed several. A GetYourGuide page carries blocks of other tours alongside its own reviews, and on the self-guided undercroft ticket one review thanks a person for “showing me around” — something that ticket does not include. It appears on that page as an example of the listing error and nowhere else. No first name here has been changed, no surname or country has been added, and nothing has been written on behalf of a reviewer who did not write it.
